Mini Kaajaalu








Ingredients :

  • All Purpose Flour / Maida - 1cup
  • Butter -2tsp
  • Salt  a pinch
  • Water as required
  • Oil or Ghee for deep frying
  • Butter mixed with rice flour to grease

Ingredients  For  Sugar Syrup
  • Sugar- 1cup
  • Water-1/2cup
   Preparation:
  • In a bowl, take the flour along with butter, salt and mix well.
  • Add water ,knead well.
  • Rest the dough for 10 minutes placing it in a ziploc cover.
  • Later divide in to two portions of balls.
  • Dust well and roll in to a big size circle.
  • Apply butter on one end of the top,tightly roll inwards like a tight rope.
  • Now cut in to small pieces.
  • Press slightly with a rolling pin,to see the layers.
  • Heat pan with oil and deep fry in low flame
  • Cook the kajaas in all sides..

Sugar Syrup:


  • In a nonstick pan, take the sugar along with water. Melt the sugar and make a thin syrup.
  • Now drop the kaajaas into this sugar syrup & let it sit for 10 minutes .
  • Yummy & Tasty Mini Kaajaalu are ready for your family for the Diwali.
