This is a variety sweet item poori made using Maida flour and dipped in the Milk.Its preparing is very simple & easy.Kids can also like its taste well.So ,this sweet is being posted for all of you to try & taste.
Ingredients:
- Maida-1 cup
- Milk-500ml
- Sugar-1/2 cup ( or add more for sweetness)
- Elachi powder- a pinch
- Raisins & Cashews - few roasted in ghee
- Ghee-1/2 tbsp
- Water- to make dough
Method:
- Take a bowl,mix the flour by adding ghee & sufficient water and make a smooth dough.
- In a vessel ,bring the milk to boil and add sugar ,Elachi powder and mix well and bring to boil once again till the milk gets thickness & turn off the flame.
- Now take a medium size ball from the dough and prepare the Poori having little bit thick,with a rolling pin ,spreading the flour on the sides if needed to make a circular shape.
- Heat oil in a deep pan for frying and dip the poori's and fry till golden color.
- Drain the excess oil with a paper towel and dip this in to a boiled milk & Let it soak for 10 minutes.
- Serve the poori by taking it in to a plate & garnish with roasted raisins, nuts & a pinch of Elachi powder.
- Tasty Sweet is ready!!
