This Vada tastes slightly a little change as the Vada made with some dals like Urad,Chanadal,Moong dal etc.This vada mix is prepared instantly without using the Mixy jars /Wet grinders .We can often prepare for your Kids and family members as this tastes well.So here goes the Yummy...Yummy recipe.
Ingredients:
- Atukulu/Poha-1cup
- Curd/Yogurt-2cups
- Onion-1 chopped (optional)
- Ginger,Garlic paste-2tsp
- Salt to taste
- Cumin seeds-1/4tsp
- Basin flour/Gram flour/Senaga pindi-1cup
- Green chillies-2tsp
- Oil for deep fry
Method:
- Take a bowl and mix the Poha /Atukulu with the curd and keep it a side for 15mins.
- After 15 mins,add the above ingredients except oil and mix well to form a thick batter.Add little quantity of water only if needed.
- Take a kadai and heat the oil for deep frying.
- Make vadas in circular shape or in any desired shapes for your kids and drop it in the oil.
- Fry the vada tille they turn in golden color and shift them in to plate placing with a paper towel to drain the excess oil.
- Serve them with tomato sauce or Chutney.
