Carrot Rice


Ingredients:

  • Grated Carrots-3 no
  • Onion- 1no chop it in lengthwise
  • Garam Masala-1/2 tsp
  • Rice-2 cups cooked (Basmati/Sonamasoori)
  • Oil-2tbsp
  • Salt-to taste
  • Cashews-few
  • Greenchillies-3no slit in length wise
Raita:
  • Curd-1 cup
  • Salt-to taste
  • Onion- 1no small chopped
Preparing Of Carrot Rice:
  • Heat the pan with a oil,add the onions and cook it.
  • Add little salt to the onions and cook well.
  • Now add the green chillies and mix well.
  • Add the cashews ,fry them well.
  • Add the ginger&garlic paste to this and cook it till it releases the raw smell.
  • Finally add the carrot and mix well with the spatula for few seconds.
  • Add Garam masala and mix it well.
  • Turn off the Flame.
  • Take a large vessel ,have the cooked rice in it and mix well with little salt .
  • To this add the fried Carrot Masala.
  • Mix well and the tasty Carrot Rice is ready!!
Preparing  Of Raita:
  • Take a bowl ,Mix the curd ,salt and blend it.
  • Add the chopped onions and mix it.
  • Serve this along the Carrot Rice.Enjoy it!!


Note:
  • While cooking the rice add little oil & the salt,by doing this rice can be separated easily.
  • Don't overcook the mixture after adding the Garam Masala,it may tastes bitter.
